Denise Lee has pursued her passion for building great global retail brands for a decade. A Singapore native, Denise began her career in the marketing department of Armani Exchange. As part of a small team, she was immersed in all aspects of brand building, eventually focusing on the company's international and digital marketing efforts. In 2010, Denise was recruited by retail pioneer, Chris Burch, to play a key role on his retail incubator team at Burch Creative Capital. As the Vice President of business development, she developed innovative ideas to apply to the BCC brand portfolio, as well as oversaw Burch’s deal flow and investments in fashion and retail startups. In late 2012, Denise saw a gap in the marketplace & decided to focus her entrepreneurial drive on developing a luxury women’s activewear brand with a downtown attitude. Launched in Spring 2014, Alala has become the go-to brand for modern style-setters who are as up on the latest fashion trends as they are on the hottest fitness studios. Denise holds an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from the New York University Stern School of Business.
Dr. María Mercedes Dominguez
Dr. D (María Mercedes Dominguez, PhD, LMFT) is a bilingual, multicultural Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Life Coach, and Consultant. Her work focuses on cultivating resilience and using it as a tool of empowerment within each client to guide them in transforming their own mindsets, emotions, and relationships. She began her journey in the mental health and coaching field 15 years ago.
